Tanzania Child Welfare (TCW) works to protect and empower vulnerable children, girls, young people, women, people with disabilities, families and communities across Tanzania. Many of the people we support face difficult living conditions and do not have reliable access to basic necessities. These may include nutritious food, clean water, safe shelter, clothing, school supplies, healthcare and other essential forms of support.
Your donation helps TCW respond to these needs and provide practical assistance where it is most urgently required. Depending on the individual situation, donations may help to provide:
- Food and other daily necessities
- School uniforms, exercise books, pens and learning materials
- Clothing, hygiene products and sanitary supplies
- Access to healthcare and essential medication
- Safe accommodation and emergency assistance
- Support for women, young people and families facing difficult circumstances
- Education, protection and economic empowerment activities
Every situation is different. TCW therefore works closely with individuals, families and local communities to understand their needs and provide appropriate support.
